Week 6 NFL and updated Power Ratings
Our Week 5 was 1-1 with our 2 team teaser of Browns-Bengals cashing. Our Dolphins pick was DOA and simply a terrible cap by us. We are 6-3 on the season (66%) which is a very solid win rate in the most efficient betting market in the world.
Week 6 is here and we have two plays: a two-team 6 point teaser and a side we like.
Two Team 6 point teaser:
Bucs -0.5 and Vikings +7.5
Bucs should take care of the Eagles on Thursday night with a Philly team over matched in the secondary. Bucs receivers are really gelling with Antonio Brown looking like he is finally 100% back in football shape. Tampa has it’s eye on a #1 seed in the NFC and Brady won’t let the Bucs come out flat this week.
Vikings escaped last week versus Detroit and head to Carolina for a game that could prove valuable to the winner as the NFC playoff race takes shape. Minnesota should get Dalvin Cook back to re-balance their offense. Carolina is a well coached team with an up and coming defense. This should be a FG game either way.
Chargers +3 at Ravens
Justin Herbert is now a Top 5 QB in the league who thrives against blitz heavy defenses. The Ravens play an uber aggressive style of D with biltzes and man to man coverage concepts. Chargers have to travel cross country, but they get a Ravens squad with a short work week. This is a confident Los Angeles team coming to town for a game that could impact playoff seeding down the road. Win this game and the Chargers may force the Ravens to fly to LA in January during the AFC playoffs.
